A Giant 23 foot (7 meters) Anaconda, piranha feeding frenzy, otters and giant river otters in this video of my encounters with the wild creatures of Brazil that dwell in the rivers and swamp of the Cerrado (the Brazilian savannah, the most biodiverse savannah in the world) and Pantanal (the world's largest tropical wetland)

The footage starts with the boat I was in slowly cruising the Formoso River, near Bonito, in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul in which I, along with my guide, found and filmed a giant 23 foot (7 meters) female green anaconda.

Then the action moves to the Rio Mimoso, in the Bonito area as well where I had the opportunity to film a playful otter.

Then there is a school of piraputangas, a fish very common in that area, in the crystal clear waters of Rio Olho d’Água, and a cascudo fish in Rio da Prata.

Then the action moves to the Pantanal, near Corumbá, Mato Grosso do Sul, where I filmed giant river otters.

The last segment of the footage shows piranha feeding frenzy on a pintado fish that I filmed further out in the swamp where the water was more clear in a place called Touro Morto.

Filmed at the end of July/beginning of August 2019.
